As many of you may already know, Standard Rivet Company officially closed its doors in March 2025. While the Standard Rivet name is no longer operating independently, the products, tooling, and expertise you’ve relied on for decades continue through SX Industries.
SX Industries purchased all Standard Rivet spot dies, rivet staple dies, and presses in 2014, when Standard Rivet relocated its operations from Massachusetts to Florida. Since that time, we have continued manufacturing Standard Rivet products in-house. In fact, if you have ordered Standard Rivet spots or rivet/staples over the past several years, they were very likely produced by SX Industries.
I personally worked for Standard Rivet for over 22 years, as many of you may recall. I am proud to continue the Standard Rivet SPOT and RIVET/STAPLE business through SX Industries, a company I have also been part of for more than 20 years.
With over 40 years of experience in the SPOT and RIVET/STAPLE industry, we are well positioned to support former Standard Rivet customers with the same quality, precision, and reliability you expect. In addition, SX Industries proudly works with several Fortune 500 companies, meeting the highest standards for consistency, performance, and manufacturing excellence.
To further ease any concerns, SX Industries is a family-owned business with more than 75 years of history, and we are actively preparing the next generation to carry the company, and the Standard Rivet legacy forward.
